DAY 1COCHIN
Transfer to the hotel after arrival in Cochin. In the afternoon, visit of The Dutch Palace in Mattancherry. Fort Kochi is a good example of Indo-European architecture. Chinese fishing nets are lining the shoreline, brought here by traders from the court of Kublai Khan. The Jewish Synagogue is at the heart of Jew Town, and today a fascinating mix of shops, warehouses and spice auction rooms. Overnight at hotel in Cochin.

DAY 2MUNNAR
Stop at Athirapally Waterfalls en-route to Munnar, a popular picnic spot and home of the the 80-feet high Athirappally Falls. Continue to Munnar and check in at hotel.

DAY 3MUNNAR
Enjoy the day exploring some of Munnar’s spectacular sights, including Mount Carmel, the first Catholic Church in the high ranges and tea factory. In the afternoon, excursion to Devikulam, and idyllic hill station. Sita Devi Lake, with its mineral waters and abundant trouts, is a trout fisher’s paradise.

DAY 4THEKKADY
After check out, continue to Periyar. Set in the high ranges of the Western Ghats, it is spread in a tropical forst area and rich in animal life. In the evening, visit to Kumily, a plantation town on the outskirts of Periyar Sanctuary and important shopping and spice trading centre.

DAY 5KUMARAKOM
The village of Kumarakom is a cluster of little islands on Vembanad Lake. Kumarakom’s extremely fertile soil has resulted in the growth of a wide variety of flora, including mangrove and coconut trees. With the rest of the day at your leisure, you can explore the area by boat of foot.

DAY 6ALLEPPEY
This morning we travel from Kumarakom to Alleppey, where we enjoy a cruise on Vembanad Lake. Traditional Kerala food will be served onboard. Overnight on a traditional houseboat.

DAY 7DEPARTURE
In the morning, transfer to Cochin airport and flight back home.
